Thursday 8 March 2012: What was...what is...what next?
Barricades around the central city stop us getting in to see what is no longer there.
'Peter' is providing us with photo's of what was once there ,which has now been
demolished...most helpful , with 2000 buildings coming down it is hard to remember what was there, you kinda have an idea however it is hard to place exactly what the shops were or the office that once stood there.
I am not sure who would be keen to go into some of the larger buildings still standing as the swampy ground can't be all that stable.
It is definately not the city that I came to 38 years ago.........watch this space is a new game we play......
