Wednesday 7 March 2012: 29/30 - Black and White

The penultimate day of my 30 day challenge! Ok so it's taken slightly longer than 30 days but I blame the lack of sun ;)

I had a hard time choosing which black & white photo to go with today... I had a lovely one of Amy as well but Clauds won.

I went to my first 'attachment parent' meeting today. To be honest I'm not a big fan of labels; we fit some of the criteria (breastfeeding, cosleeping, babywearing, positive discipline) but we don't others (homeschooling, delayed vaccinations etc). But, labels aside it was such a lovely afternoon full of genuine, kind women and their children. I didn't feel on guard or like I had to make excuses for the way I do things; I didn't feel uncomfortable when Amy needed feeding or when she pulled off and tried to expose me (feeding a curious, wriggly baby in public is a lot harder than feeding a newborn!).

It's nice to know there are other people out there like me in real life; not just the ones who live inside my computer...
