Cast Ye Oot

Mel's cast is gone! Although her foot is rather sore after being prodded, and the x-rays show that the crack can still be seen very clearly. Slightly odd - they now keep an eye on the ankle joint to make sure the fibula isn't pushing the tibia out of alignment. So the crutches remain for the moment; physio starts as soon as the referral can get processed; and she's back to be x-rayed in 6 months.

Not quite the 'up and about on her feet' that I'm sure she was hoping for, but the healing continues, and a little bit of walking on Lewis should be possible when we head there in just over two weeks.

So lazy night. Pizza ordered. Wine ordered. She's snoozing just now, and I'm looking into more stuff for the big bike ride on the 28th of April, having now had feedback from the police (I know a nice cycling sergeant) and a contact at the Council to get the permissions we need...

Oh, and more Art Deco-ness. This time at Tinto Place. Faded glamour indeed.
