Saffron Finch on Hawaii

I have been photographing these beauties all week and finally got the shot I wanted...this is a saffron finch and they are beautiful little birds! They are quite common along the Kona Coast on the big island of Hawaii and were introduced in the 1960s. They are native to South America. The males are the brightest and have the orange spot on the top of their head...the females are duller and streaked.
