Thursday 8 March 2012: "The Band" on the seafront at L'Escala..

There are several fantastic pieces of sculpture along this seafront, put there by the local council. This was made in plaster in 1976 and then cast in bronze in 2007, made by Francesc Angles Garcia.
The wild wind or 'tramuntana' was blasting away today again, you can see the white horses in the sea in the background, and the Bay of Roses beyond. I wasn't easy to stay upright to take the picture!
