Monday 25 August 2008: A day largely dictated by water

We'd planned a day in the countryside, but the rain clouds thought otherwise.

I attached a hose to an indoor tap to provide the gardeners with an outdoor water supply, but it sprung a leak and had to be closely monitored.

By 5pm the clouds and gardeners had left, so we scarpered to the park, splashed in some puddles and practiced walking backwards.

Being confined to the house gave me a perfect opportunity to be subjected to Real Radio all day by my incredibly obnoxious neighbour. Fortunately for him he hasn't shared in my pleasure due to being somewhere else. Unfortunately for him the authorities will be round at 11pm to break down his door and remove his stereo.
