Whistler in the sunshine

Whistler in the sunshine, there is no better place to be.

I was the first person down the (learner) slopes today, up bright an early before the ski schoolers. I can stop on my toe and heel edge, I can glide down the slope and remain in control but I still can't link a turn! It's a leap of faith too far with too many opportunities for a face plant. There's plenty of time yet. I would love to pick and choose my runs down the mountain like Andy can! There was a slalom competition going on today, just amazing to watch.

I just had my first cheese fondue, I don't want to see or hear about cheese for the next year. It was good, I'm expecting weird dreams tonight.
