Friday 9 March 2012: Snake soup
For our first meal in Hong Kong, we decided to go somewhere "authentic" so chose this little place, which offered snake soup amongst its delicacies... I managed to resist despite our waiter urging me to try it. On sitting down we were immediately served a glass of tea and we both dutifully drank ours down, before realising that no-one else in the place was drinking their's... but instead using it to wash their chopsticks! I still feel a bit queasy when I think about what we might have drunk!
