Thursday 8 March 2012: Chester
Lovely day out in Chester. This is me and my nephew on the Roman walls.
At the back is the Eastgate bridge clock. It was officially unveiled on Queen Victoria's 80th Birthday.
He made the jacket himself and it's perfect. (Not his job either.) I'll think I'll keep him here until he makes one for me!
As it was C's birthday today, we went to get cakes. Having seen the price of them in Pattiserie Valerie we went to M & S. Not that I'm a cheapskate or anything C wanted a trifle as you don't see them in the USA.
Big diets when he goes home!
