Was surprised to see the full moon still clearly visible over the Mt Arthur range when I got up this morning. Unfortunately my Photoshop is not working at the moment and 'unexpectedly quits' every time I try to open a file in it, otherwise I would have made a few adjustments to this shot. Still, this is all I got around to photographing today so it will have to do!
Had to go for fasting glucose blood test this morning - my decision as Type II Diabetes is rampant in my family and I thought it was probably a good idea to check as a precaution. Will find out the results next week.
My husband is arriving tomorrow - maybe he can do something about the Photoshop! Meant to do all sorts of houseworkish things today but somehow spent a great deal of time on facebook chat and Skype talking with friends who have moved from Bahrain to Australia and New Zealand over the past few years comparing our experiences, particularly with regards to children settling in at school. It's certainly challenging, to put it mildly!
Immy has bravely signed herself up for an audition for the school production tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes! She was rather pleased today as she won two lollipops in Social Studies. The regular teacher was away and they had a supply teacher with a History degree, who gave them a quiz about various historical leaders which involved pictures and a small blurb about each one. It seems that Immy was the only one to correctly identify them all. She was rather horrified that one boy labelled Winston Churchill as 'Jabba the Hut'!!
