Friday 9 March 2012: Rievaulx Abbey
We took ourselves off for a break from duties and had an historical/hysterical time. We packed so much into a short time and had a good laugh along the way. Feeling very refreshed and ready to face the real world again.
This is the beautiful Rievaulx Abbey and yesterday we were at the equally beautiful Fountains Abbey. We also "did" Ripon Cathedral and Nunnington Hall on our whistlestop tour and stayed overnight near Harrogate - a bargain room at £21 including breakfast!! I took a vast number of photographs as you would expect. It will take me weeks to sort through them.
It's Friday and the weekend - enjoy.
