Friday 9 March 2012: Whatcha doing?

Felt marginally better this morning. Thankfully my lovely children were kind to me and made things fairly easy until help arrived at lunchtime.
Grandma took Aidan to nursery and then took Niamh away with her.
It was lovely to get a break when I was feeling so unwell, but I did struggle somewhat without my little people. The house was far too quiet- I can't remember the last time I just stayed in bed watching rubbish daytime tv.
So pleased to see them both when hubby brought them home at 7pm. Niamh held in to me tightly and cuddled in. She is such an affectionate baby. Aidan had fallen asleep in the car and had woken up in a bad mood, so wasn't quite as affectionate...
I managed to soothe him a bit with an episode of Charlie and Lola on the iPad. Niamh was looking over him, trying to see what he was doing as they were both on Aidan's bed. Very cute.
