Saturday 10 March 2012: Succulent flower

Have no idea what this flower is - it was growing in the garden of one of the abandoned houses in our neighbourhood,so sadly someone is missing seeing it flower this year.

Seems to be a kind of succulent although it had strappy leaves, and a cone shaped flower head.

I liked the almost neon effect of the stamens, and the fleshy flowers (which weren't moving too much in the gale that's blowing!)
