Tough Day at the Office!
In the immediate aftermath of the 32 mile, 4400 feet (53k, 1341m) "Haworth Hobble" fell race, a finisher starts to recover.
A tough day indeed; the headwind made the first 20 miles more difficult than most of us would have wished and I don't suppose I looked in any better shape when I finished.
It is done and pretty soon we can all start to enjoy it - another beer and I'll be completely convinced I had a great day out!
Actually, I did have a great day out and huge thanks are due to the organisers, marshals and all the other helpers who make it all possible.
