Circumnavigation of Edinburgh

Here was the advert for this outing with my running club:

This is a social event where we run the 33(ish) miles round the town of Edinburgh, pretty much following the 1921 boundaries. The pace of this is slow so it is an all day event so will take as long as it takes; good for time-on-feet but not for speed work!

I joined the runners and four cyclists, about 5 miles before the end of the route (thinking that they would be going at a nice easy pace after being on the road for 28 miles, but not so). Within 1/2 mile I was right at the back! Here they are making their way up White Hill. We then went on to the top of Caerketton (stretching the old city boundary just a tad).
