The Scottish National Arena

This is the Scottish National Arena, now called the Scottish Hydro Arena, presently being built beside the SECC in Glasgow.

The First Minister gave it a name check in his speech yesterday as it will not only be the location for a variety of Commonwealth Games events, but it will also allow the largest entertainment events to be held in Scotland that presently are restricted for lack of capacity.

For me this morning, though, it was the shapes and lines that were most fascinating. outlined against a grey sky.
