green chili relleno crepes and then an impromptu walk about the zoo. lack of telephoto capabilities (as we went straight there from brunch) yielded this maintenance crew shot. the sun has finally decided to return after a three day sabbatical--it's cool, though, in its post-rain splendor. no humidity and a whole week ahead of us. started reading my Calvino book, realizing it is actually one of the few of his I haven't read (they merge together after a while, I suppose). should continue to be a grand Sun-day (literally), as we now have an extra hour of the stuff coming in on the backside of the day.
