Teapot Time

Instead of blipping the choir, the score of The Crucifixion by Stainer or the simply beautiful chapel (with Trompettes en chamade gracing the organ) in which we sang this afternoon, I give you the array of delicious cakes made and served by the 2nd year pupils of Loretto School in aid of the Teapot Trust, which raises funds to provide professional art therapy to chronically ill children in the paediatric hospitals of Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Following this tea and the rehearsal we were provided with a delicious dinner before we returned to the chapel to perform the well-known Easter oratorio.

There was more tea and cake to follow but to save our waistlines we abstained and came home, after a long but enjoyable day.
