Monday 12 March 2012: A whisper of a morning...
745/365: ... which disguised the start of the week nicely.
All a bit of a rush really. Not least because I had some really scary nightmares during the night (made the mistake of watching a bit of heavy film with Nick last night and that *always* gives me scary dreams!) and they meant that I hadn't slept brilliantly. Then, I thought the car had plenty of petrol in it and it turned out only to have a whiff of the stuff. And then I realised that the nearest petrol station was closed for refurbishment... and the next closest was a couple of miles away... in the opposite direction to work... which made me 10 minutes later than normal... and when I went to write my 'to do' list which I always start the day by doing... I remembered I'd left my current notepad at home.
Basically, Mondays are evil.
Although it wasn't 100% evil because I did legitimately get to take a few photos for work... and then got my head round what I was going to include in a presentation. Which was a relief because it's been bugging me a bit! Despite that, I've got a migraine coming on and I'm really hoping it doesn't because I'm supposed to be going to London for an event thingy tomorrow. Migraines are on my list of 'things I could do without'.
As is the weird chesty cough thing I've managed to develop. As has Felix. He really isn't looking too well and he's running a temperature too. So, why he's out in the garden playing unicorns with Maddy, I'm not sure. He's also just wearing a t-shirt.
It's okay... I know my own way to the bad parent corner...
PS Although it started off foggy this morning, it's gone all bright blue skies and lovely this afternoon...
PPS ... and there's oodles of blossom out too!
PPPS Have I mentioned before how much I love Spring?!
