Sunday 11 March 2012: "A Grand Day Out"...

Actually it was a whole grand weekend out...
Alan and Mike hijacked Jan's birthday weekend and hosted a grand beanfeast in the little village of Thwaite to celebrate their 120th birthday - actually if you add in Jan's birthday - it comes closer to 141 joint years.

Needless to say a "moderate" amount of alcohol was consumed; along with a "light" diet of yorkshire's finest cuisine; plenty of "refined" company and the (very) odd balloon or two made for a great Saturday night.

So by Sunday morning a gentle stroll around Hawes complete with a trip to the Creamery made for a very lovely end to the weekend.

How lovely to all be together.
