Sgwarnog: In the Field

Leeds Owl

Although I live only twelve miles away, and have a clear view of Leeds city centre from home, this is only the second time I've visited in 466 days of blipping.

The Leeds owls are perhaps an obvious choice, but they were looking particularly golden in the sunshine. Without planning it, I stumbled across half of the owls on the Civic Owl Trail, which is part of the Leeds Owl Trail. This seems a great initiative for stimulating curioisty about the buildings and institutions in the city.

That's two consecutive clear blue skies for you, I'm in danger of using up my annual quota.
