where the wild go

drawingwithfilm asked how I did this.
I took two pictures. First with magic shutter, an app that allows you to hold the shutter open and watch the image develop like a Polaroid. In this case hkoba was driving, and as we went past buildings and trees they got more blurry. If we were to stop mid-street the image registering on the screen would progressively get more defined. You start out pressing the shoot button and let go once an image you like forms.
The second image with the elk is part of a mural at Food Front that I took with the Pano app.
Blender is the app used to put together the two pictures. My favorite image processing app at this time is filterstorm. Used it to crop, among other things, the Pano image before and after the blending.
