Monday 12 March 2012: Circle dance

.....or Square Dance?

Four young swans, with no sign of their parents, circling on the Lancaster Canal. There was a little time for a walk along the canal at Crooklands as I headed back from Preston to Kendal.

Another warm day with a blanket of cloud. Warm, cloudy conditions make for a perfect moth night and now's the time for the Hebrew Characters and the quakers that feed on sallow blossom - but I daren't put the moth trap out as I have to be up early and then later in the day it's a work trip to London. So definitely no blip from me tomorrow.
