Monday 12 March 2012: Depth (OF)
The new camera! Tough, apparently. I just hope it's tough enough as the Fabulous Thunderbirds so memorably sang. Later, out to meet JH and discuss a sail in June to the Outer Hebrides in his rather lovely wooden boat. I shall start making a list of what to take. Sleeping bag. Waterproof camera. Bottle of Scotch. A book?
Which reminds me, started a new book today, The Scottish Enlightenment: The Scots' Invention of the Modern World. A bit of a far fetched claim, but as it's made by the American author, I don't feel quite so embarrassed about it. Course we did! Don't scoff.
