Saturday 10 March 2012: Summers' day
A hot afternoon and almost time to go home. With just an hour to spare before we took Julie to catch her return flight to Cairo, Becky and Aurelie decided to get Felix harnessed up and take us for a quick trip along the canal.
Felix the donkey is in training, as he has little experience of being a 'Working' donkey. Julie also was in training, as she has little experience of being a driver of such a vehicle! (You did well Jules honestly!)
The late afternoon sun was gorgeous as we maneuvered our way past other carts, carrying sugar cane and hashish.
This method of travel takes a lot of beating, very relaxing and such good fun!
