Who brought the ladder ?

Presumably, no-one, which is why the (oversized) light appears to be at head height !

This is in the stairwell from Bradford Cathedral heading towards the city centre (the hole)*

I might try to get the steps one day (they're huge, but go round in a sort of square spiral)
