Tuesday 13 March 2012: A Charm of Gold Finches.....
The collective name for a lot of Gold Finches.
My friend the farmer phoned me today and said bring your camera I have loads of Gold Finches.
So off I toddled and went to the farm, and sure enough, he did have loads of the beauties all feasting on the seed he had in the feeder.
I managed around 75 shots before tea and biscuits beaconed.
Another quiet day today so I had the guys do a stock take just to get them used to doing them and to make sure the stock on our system is still OK.
We will know tomorrow when I check it.
