Life In Wales

Early morning mist

Louis and I went for an early morning walk across the fields with my friend and her dog and this blip is of the Butte du Lion in the distance.

The Butte du Lion in translation means the Lions Mound, and was built to commemorate the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. Soil was used from the battlefields and the Lion was supposedly made out of melted down cannons abandoned by the French.

Unfortunately, it's now time to head to work, but it was a lovely walk and Louis is already curled up in his bed having a nap.

Hope you all have a nice day :-)
