Birds On The Salt Marshes.

A friend and I went to Parkgate for lunch. I had not been here since I was about 10. After a delicious lunch we walked both ways along the Parade. Parkgate was once a port where passenger ships departed for Ireland. The continual silting up of the River Dee saw an end to this.
Lady Hamilton bathed here having been born in nearby Ness. Handel set sail for Ireland from here for the first performance of the Messiah. Relics of the past here Does anyone know why this clock is unusual? Have a great weekend everyone.
