Tuesday 13 March 2012: Red red... <fantail equivalent>
Growing up in NZ, you get lots of books with animals you simply can't relate to.
Robins are a great example. Now we live here I love seeing robins dancing around - they really do lighten the heart a bit.
If only someone had explained 'they are like an English version of a Fantail' it would have been so much easier to understand the emotional attachment everyone seems to have with them.
