White-crowned Sparrow

We have had rain all day...hard to get a good shot of anything outside, but the birds continue to eat, so I actually found two new species I had not seen before! This is the White-crowned sparrow...which has 5 subspecies. Pacific Coast birds are brown with a yellowish bill, and have a gray patch between the eye and bill. Their call is a sharp tink. They were not interested in the feeders, but foraged on the ground!
