Outside the Box: traffic box art in Santa Cruz, is a county program that accepts proposals from local artists to beautify signal controller boxes all over town. These vegetables seemed particularly jolly on this dark rainy afternoon, especially after we spent a few minutes running around the farmers' market between drops, trying to stock up on a few things for the week.

For the record, I am successfully walking and driving after babying my knee these past few days, and Mr S is playing the violin. Ha ha, just wanted to see if you were paying attention. He's doing fine.
