Thursday 15 March 2012: Hywel Pugh - farmer
Drove around the hills above Harlech this morning; Usually extremely scenic, but inevitably the fog and drizzle put a slop to that.
On my travels I encountered this lovely gentleman cleaning the barnyard of his farm. He farms over 1000 acres most of the land belonging to Lord Harlech. He has several thousand sheep (he did tell me but I have forgotten the exact number) and lots of cattle.
Like me, Hywel is worried about the fate of his mother tongue. Meanwhile he has to get on with the work of framing. Next big task is sheep shearing.
