Thursday 15 March 2012: Pret a Porter
Having ransacked my wardrobe this morning in preparation for our trip to Paris, the panic of realising I have 'nothing to wear' set in rapidly. Rather than wait to splash the cash in Louis Vuitton on the Champs Elysees, I instead headed to H&M to stock up. The changing room was terribly lit and all the clothes were too small - or at least that's my excuse for looking so dreadful in the mirror! I did however make a few small purchases so bags are almost packed and the excitement is palpable.
Kids will be missed; tears will be shed. Fun will be had; wine will be drunk. It's a delicate balancing act but I think we'll manage.
