~On The Precipice~
~Of a Cliff Face~
Perched on a escarpment above the
Lago Del Oro dry river plain.
This poor mesquite tree appears
to be tempting the forces of nature.
The two main ones being gravity and erosion.
It seem to be taking a big chance
to not be like the other mesquite trees.
None of which I photographed today.
I choose this one because it was the exception.
Playing it safe is not always the way to go.
Sometimes being safe doesn't get one noticed.
Kind of like the format that I used tonight.
I hope it works, but at the very least, I took a chance.
