A Wave On The Ocean

Thursday 15 March 2012: Foggy morning on the water.

Stopped the car on the way to work to get a few photos of the fog over Manchester Ship Canal.
In the far distance, almost obscured by the fog, is Exchange Quay, situated at the end of Salford Quays.

My timing was pretty good as members of Agecroft Rowing Club were out for their morning training (it was about 8.30am), and then a bloody big cormorant went flying by. (At least I think it was a cormorant.)

Photo taken from Woden Street Bridge, where the River Irwell meets with the Manchester Ship Canal.
