Thursday 15 March 2012: Spring Flower!

The longing to be outside continues to grow as the days get longer and so I got in a quick walk in the local park at lunchtime. There were beds full of these lovely orange tulips. They were planted in a very regimented order which is typical of so much municipal planting. I love to see plants roaming about borders with gay abandon in little clusters of colour interspersed with foliage.

But hey ho the bright colour is welcome at this time of year so I guess I shouldn't knock the little orange rows of colour!
