Thursday 15 March 2012: The Daffies
The son has some work again. This is excellent news. Spring is definitely in the air. It's working on the new Forth Bridge till July. He's been trying to get into joinery for a while; perhaps they're building the bridge from wood?
As for last night's cinema, I shan't be too sniffy. India looks very beautiful, Tom Wilkinson plays the part, and there are two very good one-liners, both delivered quite adequately. Ahem.
And the house next door is for sale again: nobody stays in that house for long. I wonder why? It's such a nice little street after all.
