I've never been a big fan of municipal gardening cropped and manicured to within an inch of it's life. I realise however that the garden here probably errs to far the other way!

This morning the trees that run like a spine at the end of the gardens were shrouded in mist and the clematis seemd slung across the pergola like a scarf
