Tallest Chimneys in Salford
Near Monton Church on the edge of Salford is this small old house with three exceptionally tall chimneys.
Chimneys this tall are commonly found, further north, in Cumbria where their "draw" is considered to be less affected by strong winds. It is hard to imagine high winds are a significant problem in Salford, perhaps, it was just a fad.
