Friday 16 March 2012: Crazy Pinks

this little collage of crazy kids are the mini pinks, who both seem to have an obsession for sticking their tongues out whenever a camera is pointed in their direction. They then like to review the shot, and if it's not funny enough (in their opinion) we have to retake it. mmmmm.

Today has been an average type of friday really, Miss Pink has been to pre-school, Master Pink to school. I stayed at home, and baked my first ever Herman cake, and also some chocolate cakes ready for master Pink's birthday party this weekend. Not sure that the Herman or the chocolate cake really turned out how they should, not been a good baking day today. Funny how some days it just doesn't go to plan. Miss Pink stayed for school lunch at pre-school. Master Pink had his swimming lesson. Neither of them wanted to go to bed. The builders have put up more bricks,some cavity insulation and some breeze blocks. The gap now left between the house and the new wall looks far too small to fit a downstairs bathroom in. It'll be ok, it'll be ok!

Master Pink came out of school this afternoon and said "you mustn't look in my bag, at all Mummy, not until Sunday, and then only when I say you can." I am hoping that he is hiding some lovingly crafted mother's day gift ready for sunday, rather than a mouldy lunch box, or a school letter demanding a full tudor costume to be made!
