Shoe Samaritan?

After my photo of the towering yellow shoes earlier in the week, this is a rather more downmarket pair.

They were in the gutter last night, cast off by someone who couldn't be bothered to wear them home I assume. Our street is just off one of the main thoroughfares in Brighton with lots of bars and restaurants. We often see people who are a bit the worse for wear or come across things left in the street (some less pleasant than others).

This morning, someone had come along and put them neatly on a ledge, ready to be reunited with their owner, or taken to a forever home somewhere else. Sweet.
