Tuesday 6 March 2012: Man

This is looking out from the port store in Tamachi. I like to grab a can of coffee here on the way to work simply because it says "Port Store" in big letters outside. Other than that it's a normal convenience store, but it reminds me of the four months I lived and worked on a merchant navy ship off the west coast of America. Heading to the port store at that time was a lot more hair-raising than the trip to this one.
