This is Tarbert, Loch Fyne, this afternoon at low water.

Iolair is Gaelic for Eagle. It is also the name associated with one of the worst maritme tragedies in Scotland's history, which has been written about several times but never as well as by John MacLeod in "When I heard the Bell" .
