Desperation flower....

Another month gone and tomorrow we are into Autumn, this year has fled by so far and seems to be accelerating, some say into Oblivion.

Just finished decorating and will be on my way down South tonight and just thought I had not go a Blip so in desperation took this plant, it looks like an Onion and flowers with these lovely Red flowers, I don't know the name so if anyone can help????
