Saturday 17 March 2012: Apple Blossom Time
We are busy collecting a lot of plants to put in as soon as the ground is less spongy from the rain. Today we found a mandarin orange that is good for our microclimate and is a reasonably fast grower. I've got over two hundred pounds of planting mix in the trunk of my car, and I wait here like a spider to pounce on the first person who is physically able to unload it.
