Friday 16 March 2012: bluebonnets
the state flower of texas. blooming outside BRIT.
not sure if i've even explained BRIT here actually. it's the botanical research institute of texas and it's down the street from my house. it's in a really great LEED platinum building. i volunteer there.
work - left early to even out hours, then some volunteering. home to find michael and mel on the porch drinking. ready in a quick minute and we're off to T&P. some time downstairs and then we end up in larry's apartment drinking belgian sours.
everyone drinks, but i am slow and thus perpetually within the legality of the sober zone. larry is drunkest. good thing he lives here.
today was a great day. this is the best spring-break-that-isn't-actually-spring-break-for-me ever.
