A Dog's Dinner

Faust and Sunday

It's been a rather relaxing Sunday.

A long lie and a good read, breakfast in bed then a stroll over to Miss B's to have lunch in the garden. Of course she was playing with her pal and not in the least interested in her grandpa but it was still nice to be around.

Last night I made a bit of discovery on Love Films - Faust.

Made in 1926, silent of course but with a new musical soundtrack. Fantastic effects, amazing ideas and wonderful acting all wrapped up in Expressionistic sets.

I thought I would give it five minutes and was enthralled for ninety.

Unlikely but highly recommended
