We are not amused...

... at the £650+ bill I'll face tomorrow when my bl**dy car has to have two new catalytic converters fitted as the old ones have given up. It's had a rattling sound for a few weeks and the garage gave me the news today. Jeeeeez, just when you're thinking "I should be ok for money this month" this crap comes along and hits you.

A couple of pints of peroni and a burger in Windsor did not soften the blow enough, although Mrs DP did pay out of sympathy...
