Sunday 18 March 2012: Slapstick SP

I should have realized how this was headed when my hair decided to do its own thing today. Stubborn hair - no control over it. Then I thought a sunset shot on the beach dressed up in a lovely skirt and my favorite jacket and wild boots - that sounds fun. Well - the day slipped away and I decided instead to grab my last of the three SPs out by Woody the cigar store carving.

Every shot had issues. I readjusted the camera, sighed and said outloud, "okay this is it. However this goes this will be the one I have to put through Color Efex a few hundred times."

I set the timer, seriously tripped and stumbled on my own two feet, turned and fell managing to unhook my bra at the same time - hence the laugh and the weird position (not to mention the slight boulder collapse - worse for leaning forward I think. So much for my modeling career).

Ah well. I said this would be the one and here it is - a fall, an unhook, and an avalanche of sorts. I'm back in blue jeans with a cool scarf wrapped around my head and ready to feed the cats and dogs and be thankful that I only said 3 SPs!

I left the rubbish behind Woody just as a reminder to me that maybe committing to one SP is enough. Tomorrow back to my regularly scheduled program.

I prefer this one that I took yesterday and put on my secondary journal called Bethography.

A lovely friend on Twitter saw this Blip and said, " I think you've mastered a new art form: the candid self-portrait." and that I should create a challenge on Blip - The Candid Self Portrait! I like the idea!
